I took this photo on a Sunday night when I had a date night out with my husband in San Francisco. The "Painted Ladies" were built between 1849 and 1915 and I think they are perfectly illustrating how much the city architecture changed by time. This park is beautiful during daytime but the night city lights in the background make it even prettier.
This photo was taken in 2006 September with my Canon Powershot camera when I started to explore digital photography myself. This place means a lot to me because I often came here when I was a kid and wanted to have some alone time. I was sitting here in a boat and I was just playing with the water. This is still my favorite place in my hometown and I come here whenever I visit my country. I captured the trees during sunset when the sun was shining on the branches which made the trees look like it is fall season already. This photo got recognized by the jury in 2009 on the junior Hungarian photo contest called "With Fresh Water" (Tiszta vizzel) which was organized for the International Day of Water and wanted to draw the attention to keep our rivers, lakes and water clean. http://www.vizkincs.hu/
